Study In Germany In Five Steps

First, the conditions for studying in Germany

In the following, we will mention to you the most important steps that you must go through if you decide to study in Germany. But first let’s talk about the conditions that you must have in order to be eligible to study in Germany:

First condition:

You must have already obtained a high school diploma with a GPA above 70% if you want to study for a bachelor’s degree. If you want to study a master’s degree, you must have completed university studies in your country and must have obtained a bachelor’s degree certificate.

Second condition:

Taking care of material things. Although studying in Germany is free in 15 of the 16 federal states in Germany, the student must take care of his personal expenses during his stay in Germany. The embassy requires proof of funding for the study through either what is known as a closed bank account that the student must open in Germany and charge it with an amount of 10,236 euros, or through personal sponsorship, or proof that the student has obtained a scholarship.

Third condition:

language requirement. Anyone who wants to study in the German language in Germany must have obtained a German language certificate for the A2 level as a minimum. For students who wish to study in the English language, they must prove this by submitting notarized and recognized certificates with the German embassy and even the university that the student later wants to study in Germany.

Now that we have mentioned the conditions that the student must obtain in order to be able to study in Germany. We will mention the steps that each student must follow to start the actual study at a German university.

The first step:

Find the university that matches your academic desires and qualifications. You can search either online or by visiting the official website of the German cultural exchange organization Daad, and you can also contact our company to help you through the services we provide. Here, it must be mentioned that obtaining conditional university admission is necessary to obtain a study visa from the German embassy.

The second step:

After obtaining conditional approval from a German university, you must book an appointment with the German embassy in the country in which you are currently residing. Before the appointment, you must prepare all the papers and documents that you must submit to the embassy on the day of your interview at the German embassy. Here you will find the most important of these papers that you must secure and prepare before the embassy appointment.

The third step:

After booking the appointment and preparing all the requirements requested by the embassy, you can submit the application to the German embassy in the country in which you are currently residing. The German Embassy and the German Foreign Ministry are for foreign students wishing to study in Germany.

The fourth step:

If you are approved for a German study visa, you will receive a visa for an initial period of 3 months. After you come to Germany, you can go to the foreigners’ department in the city you want to settle and study in to apply for German residency. Before you apply, you must have obtained housing, and you must prove that you have started studying the German language in one of the institutes in the same city, or prove your official registration at the university in the event that you do not need to study the German language because your studies are in English.

Fifth step:

In this step, every student who wants to study a bachelor’s degree in German must make sure that the high school diploma is recognized in Germany or not.

All countries in the Arab world, except for Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia and Palestine, need to do a preparatory year before starting their university studies. After completing the preparatory year, you can then start actually studying at university.
